Typical applications include motor applications, load detection and management, power supplies and DC-DC converter control, inverter control, and overcurrent protection. The device consists of a low-offset, precision linear Hall circuit with a copper current path close to the surface of the die. Current flowing through this current path generates a magnetic field that is converted by the Hall IC into a proportional voltage output. Device accuracy is optimized by placing the magnetic signal close to the Hall sensor.
