ACS758LCB-100B-PFF-T : Thermally Enhanced, Fully Integrated, Hall-Effect Based, High Accuracy Linear Current Sensor IC with 100 μΩ Current Conductor The Allegro ACS758 family of current sensor ICs provides an economical and accurate solution for AC or DC current sensing. Typical applications include motor applications, load detection and management, power supplies and DC-DC converter control, inverter control, and overcurrent protection. The device consists of a low-offset, precision linear Hall circuit with a copper current path close to the surface of the die. Current flowing through this current path generates a magnetic field that is converted by the Hall IC into a proportional voltage output. Device accuracy is optimized by placing the magnetic signal close to the Hall sensor. The precise, proportional output voltage is provided by a chopper-stabilized, low-offset BiCMOS Hall IC that is factory programmed for accuracy.
